Italian Restaurant Canon 350D This was when we went on a budget trip to Rome for a few days and stayed in the grottiest hotel in the world. Our living space consisted of a small dingey room with three beds (horrible bedcovers) and a tiny bathroom. The complimentary breakfast included with the deal turned out to be a dry croissant and small cup of instant coffee from the shop down the road. What we gained from this, though, was a significant amount of time anywhere but our room and made the most of our visit. I love this picture of my mum (and not because you can’t see half her face) because she usually pulls the traditional photo smile in pictures, which isn’t all that flattering to anyone really. It’s such a cute picture of her.
